Brow Embroidery with Holly Davies
Microblading is the newest and hottest form of cosmetic tattooing which has increased in popularity and demand over the past two years at an astounding rate.
This manual method gives the effect of ultra-fine delicate hair strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brow hair. And there is no visual downtime - your brows are “selfie ready” immediately! We will create crisp intricate hair strokes which are indistinguishable from the real thing.
This is not a new method. The technique of implanting pigment after the creation of fine incisions in the skin may date back thousands of years, however the trend towards using the technique for eyebrows has re-emerged in Asia in recent years. And now it has become a global trend.
You may hear it called Microblading, Eyebrow Embroidery, Micro-stroking, Feather Touch… the point is to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows, add a slight arch. It's all done by creating the appearance of fine hairs using mineral pigments. Because this technique works superficially in the upper region of the dermis it creates unparalleled minute strokes that look just like real hairs.
Our Microblading process uses a “single use” disposable pen and sterile “individually wrapped” single-use needle or needles, made from various formations of acupuncture needles. These are fused together in a linear grouping. This is a manual method which does not involve the use of a machine. We meticulously implant individual strokes one by one.
Clients love that there is no downtime with their appearance. A new set of brows will be ready for a selfie immediately after the process. All other precautions normally observed for permanent makeup need to be adhered to during the healing period.
We recommend a follow-up four to six weeks after your appointment. Once healed, no special care is required, except for a brief touch-up once a year.
