Amanda Amanda: Premier Stylist

Amanda has worked at Buzby and Blue since 2003. She started as a receptionist for Buzby and Blue but has now moved on to hairdressing.

Music and fashion are a big part of Amanda's life and both these things inspire her creativity. In 2006 she entered a hairdressing competition in Chichester which not only involved creating a hairstyle but the costume design and make-up as well. The theme Amanda adopted for this competition was inspired by Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream, the backing soundtrack she used was by the group Tangerine Dream.

Another competition Amanda entered, involved a presentation that had to reflect the theme 'Collision'. For this Amanda designed hair and make-up to look like 1930's mannequins. The soundtrack she used for this presentation was Madonna's 'What it feels like for a girl'.

Amanda has enjoyed the creative outlet these projects have provided and brings the same creativity and enthusiasm to her hairdressing at Buzby and Blue.

Specialist Area: Cutting, Colouring, Customer Care.

Louisa Louisa: Premier Stylist

I started my career in hairdressing in 1988, working in salons around the Bognor Regis and Chichester area. During the late 1990s I worked for Charles Worthington in London for about 3 years, where I took part in a number of hairdressing shows, demonstrations and helped assist at London fashion week. Whilst there I gained extensive knowledge of creative hair and L’Oreal colour and products.

In early 2000 I left salon life to start a family. I returned to hairdressing about 3 years ago on a part time basis and I am trained to NVQ level 3.

Specialist Area: All aspect about hairdressing including bridal, perming and highlighting.
